Vectrix nimh trickle charging

I was wondering if someone tried to regularly trickle charge the vectrix battery pack with an external charger, and if it would be an efficient & safe way to balance it and save weak cells from polarity inversion.

If nobody sees serious downsides, i'll probably install an external HV plug and build a simple 0,03 C charger...

GO on EBAY and typein (EBAY VECTRIX SCOOTERS) and there is a 150volt power supply that puts out 0.3 amp and is the best trickel charger. I bought one but haven't used it yet.

The Laird developed a charger we named "Special Freddy". Search V for it for details.

I have often used it for something like you suggest, details here: http://visforvoltage.org/book/ev-collaborative-hand-books/7234#comment-63493
