Lightning parts response by X-treme

Xtreme came through after the pot metal ignition lock cylinder on my scoot shattered.

I went to:

http://www.x-tremescooters.com/electric_bicycles/xb600/parts.html

and placed the order on Wednesday. It was waiting on my doorstep on Saturday evening.

Well, :"nothing is ever as good, or as bad, as is first reported."

The parts delivered were for a XB610, which had subtle differences from my what-passes-for-elderly-in-the-twenty-first-century four year old scoot.

I was able, however, to adapt the older locking mechanisms to the newer lock cylinders.

Many of the changes were clearly in the direction of more robust and durable design - a good sign for the XB610.
