Headlight to high

Hi,

I just downloaded the VX-1 Service Manual to see if i could use it to perform a lowering of the headlight.
Strange, I could not find any adjustment screw.

"Adjusting the headlamp
1. To adjust the light beam up and down turn the right lower side adjustment screw. Clockwise to raise the beam and counterclockwise to lower the beam.
2. To adjust the light beam side-to-side turn the upper left adjustment screw. Clockwise to move the beam to the right and counterclockwise to move the beam to the left.

Is there any difference between the headlight of a VX-1 Nihm and mine a VX-1 Li??
Or maybe i need new glasses? :0

Re: Headlight to high

You have to remove the screen first.

The screws are at the back of the headlight.
When I adjusted mine I had to take out the headlight completely in order to adjust the screws.

Once you go EV, Gas is history!

Re: Headlight to high

What i have done:

1. Removed the windshield.
2. Removed the console top cover.
3. Removed the left front and right front louver screws.

Then i see:
headlamp assembly retaining bolts.

Couldn't find any lower side adjustment screw.(True, I am a newbee)

Ideas?
