Where did you got these leaf cells????
Read the LEAF Conversion
thread ALL INFO THERE!!!
I am surprised at how little interest there has been in the bike with LEAF conversion. I will not drop the price and will keep it if it does not make the money!!
Why are you surprised? They're pretty much worthless. No manufacturer's backup, limited parts, known to have potential problems. I love mine. I am not going to sell it, but when it stops, I'm not going to try and find another one!
I just solved most of my future problems of not having spare parts I just bought a complete blue vectrix with dead battries and 1000 miles on it for parts, this way my silver bike should outlast me @ 71yrs. young.
BLUESTREAK, I did the same mistake: I bought a crashed vectrix with damaged batteries for replacement parts. Now I have two operational vectrix and no replacements...
Peter, thanks, I'll try to list all posts and all unsuccessful source of cells mentioned. oh, and keep that vectrix, there's little interest in a dead brand whose motorycle's owners report huge problems in internet
HI"R" ,I learned a lot since I bought my 1st. vectrix. I just installed a set of leaf batterys and am very happy, I also got the blue spare bike up and running with my 150 volt power supply and started the on board charger and it settels down to about 138 volts. it would be tempting to have 2nd operrational bike but the reason I bought the 2nd bike was because it has "NO" title but not damaged. so this makes it easier to just have a parts bike.
I suppose that there is a rather large stigma attached to the Vectrix brand now and that seems to kill the value of them. I really wanted the space in my garage for another project but will keep it if I cant get a proper price for it. It is a pity because it is a pretty well made machine with mostly decent components and the leaf conversion and firmware upgrades make it very lively and the range murders even the new BMW!!
Still for sale!!
