TEAM MUGEN TO PARTICIPATE IN 2015 ISLE OF MAN TT

Team Mugen Shinden will race in the 2015 TT ZERO with two riders again this year. The team began participating in the 2012 TT ZERO.

As for last year, they'll have two riders: John McGuinness and Bruce Anstey

Both are at the top of the game in the TT. McGuinness has won over 20 times, and Anstey set the outright lapspeed record in 2014.

They'll have a new bike for 2015, named SHINDEN YON, replacing the previous bike designed which had been named SHINDEN SAN. Shinden is the Japanese god of Lightning

For the 2012 and 2013 seasons, their participation was marked by the goal of beating MotoCzysz. Each year MotoCzysz beat Mugen, instead, with 2013 being the year they all surpassed the 100 miles/hr lap speed. For the 2014 TT ZERO, MotoCzysz was unfortunately unable to take part. That left Mugen to win both 1st and 2nd places.

If the field in 2015 is any sign, Mugen may be left free to win outright again but there were some potentially strong competitors in 2014.

“SHINDEN YON” will be exhibited at the 2015 Tokyo Motorcycle Show, which will be held at Tokyo Big Sight in March, 2015.

Those Isle of Man TT riders are outright insane: on average one of them dies each year, but they still try to go faster every year. I am torn betweeen fascination und total lack of comprehension for these folks...

My rides:
2017 Zero S ZF6.5 11kW, erider Thunder 5kW
