So, I suppose the VX-4 designation means that those will be "Training-Wheels" on the back, rather than a trike.

Re: COMMING SOON BLUESTREAK'S (VX-4)

Looks unusual, but interesting:-) Can it lean at all now? If not this thing will be highly dangerous when cornerning due to too much weight in front of the outrigger wheels....

Re: COMMING SOON BLUESTREAK'S (VX-4)

It certainly looks dodgy to me too. Even it it had a sufficiently low and rearward CG, I would not like the handling too much. Especially staying in the seat (and any cargo staying in place) from the lateral acceleration on a hard turn.

Re: COMMING SOON BLUESTREAK'S (VX-4)

This bike does lean just a small amount because each wheel has it's on suspension of which I will post photos later. This bike is like all the other kit's that are sold and used on HONDAS,HARLEYS. and many other motorcycles and scoters and it will take any (POSTED LEGAL SPEED LIMIT)just like cars. there are thousands of these being used all over the world and are becoming more popluer each day. also every one will get old like me somday(72 in dec. with knee and leg and back problems. so it works for me. more photos coming today of what it took to build this.

Re: COMMING SOON BLUESTREAK'S (VX-4)

Do you carry a block of wood to stop it rolling away when it's parked, or does it have some form of parking brake fitted?

I presume the box section steel tubing is welded to a plate that simply bolts on to the swinging arm using the four main stand fixing bolts?

The fenders and rims on the new wheels match the silver Vectrix pretty nicely!

I like the idea of the kickstand activating the parking brake. So simple!
