I've had a VX-1 "resting" in my garage for ages with failed temp sensors. I found out about the guys in Poland and got a new set of rear sensors. I managed to repair the front sensor set. While I had the battery packs apart I replaced a few cells which had failed with some used but acceptable cells and cycled all the others.
Put it all together again and turned the key! I got a normal startup but then it left the battery hot and battery fault red tell-tales on.
The only way I'm getting any further is if I can get hold of a gridconnect for a couple of weeks to track down the fault and load updated (Laird) firmware.
Anyone have one they could loan/rent/sell? Kindness will be rewarded! Really can't face shelling out for a new one.

New to interfacing to the bike, but I have an old windows laptop, I've downloaded scooterdiag and drivers, and got hold of the Laird NIMH firmware. My intention is to diagnose the temp sensor problem and if I can't effect repairs then use the charger and motor controller firmware that ignores temp sensor input.

I bought the new BMS, but i have a several problems with the temperature sensors..
I send a few emails to vectrix parts but they don't give me a solution..
About the software.. I tried to install in windows xp, 7, 8 and 10 and don't work..
Be careful. I'm not sure but I think new BMS use temperature sensors with different calibration values. Yo cannot mix old and new hardware. Upgrade your old temperature sensors attached on your cells to correct temperature sensors.
Yes, i know. I put thermistors 10kNTC and the sensor nº 1 give me good value but the other sensor don't give me values..
The wire scheme in old and new BMS system is the same?

Yes they need time .... I asked for something and wait 4 weeks for response but at the end they helped me 1 day ago....

icon doesn't apear, or give me errors when i start the aplication (like .net errors), or don't give me errors but the aplication doesn't start..
I tried in a virtual machine, and their i can start the aplication but the virtual machine doesn't reconize the USB/CAN..
Windows 7 32bit or 64bit?
