Vx-1 Harness Connector Pin tool(s)

I am in search of the tool(s) to insert/extract the pins from the connectors
on the wiring harness of the VX-1. Does anybody have any information
about this???

Re: Vx-1 Harness Connector Pin tool(s)

Thanks. I already have that one. The utensil I seek is the
one for the Charger connector, it has square female pins in the
cable side of the connector.
My search seems to indicate it has one of two part numbers:.
211S040 OR
680-12004

I have little confidence either of these is correct which is
why I ask..... Thanks!!

You are talking about the present 3,3 kW TC chargers or the legacy nighmare chargers? These gold Evps.... you just need a very small flat screwdriver, take out the platic cap and unpin the terminal lock system. Anyhow, the sooner you move to TC charger and 2019 firmwares, the better will perform your Vectrix.

Re: Vx-1 Harness Connector Pin tool(s)

Hi, Thanks for the info. Yes, the 18-pin connector for the charger (the cable-side).
The thought did cross my mind to use a flat blade something-or-other but
I already put the correct tools on order (had to get three=min order). They have been back ordered
for the end of March so I just have to be patient.
Kind of a shame because I have stabilized the firmware to convert the VX-1 throttle value to
0-5vdc and wanted to do a video.... oh well... just have to wait.
Thanks again!
