Hi,
It's probably the weather (I always blame the weather) - it's hot and muggy where I am and folks are getting cranky. Either behind the scenes or in public. I confess I've been cranky too - I'm a part of the problem. I'd rather be a part of the solution (you at the back of the room! yes you usatracy! stop smirking back there! yes, yes, I know it's all very "cum-by-ah"ish but hang in there with me!)
But what are any of us achieving here? Even the voice of calm, our esteemed Webmaster, seems to be at least a little po'd at rumblings of power plays in the background.
This is a web forum people. This isn't life or death.
So if any of you are feeling hot and bothered. Or any of you behind the scenes are feeling unwilling to change and or apologize or accept criticism then I highly recommend you ALL watch this video: http://www.etc.cmu.edu/global_news/?q=node/42 - (if you don't want to watch this at least read the summary here: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB119024238402033039.html ) this guy is dying of cancer and yet he's happy and he's having fun. He's helping people, with humor and with dignity - all while knowing he has 6 months to live.
What are we doing arguing over a forum! We need to get over ourselves. NOW!
OK usatracy you can start guffawing now... ;-)
;)
I totally agree with you.
BTW , do you know where 223 E. Ann St is located?
