I just got an email from EVTA saying they have started to ship motorcycles to Bermuda and USA customers.
From their email:
IT PLEASES US TO INFORM YOU
THAT WE HAVE STARTED TO SHIP TO BERMUDA AND THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS ALL THE UNITS GOING TO THE USA WILL HAVE BEEN SHIPPED. THE CONTAINER TO BERMUDA IS WELL ON ITS WAY. IN THE USA WE WILL NOTIFY EACH AND EVERY BUYER WHEN THEIR SPECIFIC MOTORCYCLE HAS BEEN SHIPPED AND AFTER THAT, THROUGH SCHENKER, OUR SHIPPER, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO FIND OUT WHEN EXACTLY YOUR MOTORCYCLE WILL BE DELIVERED TO YOUR SHIPPING ADDRESS. AFTER EVTAMERICA NOTIFIES YOU THAT YOUR UNIT HAS BEEN SHIPPED YOU CAN REQUEST MORE INFORMATION OR MAKE SPECIFIC DELIVERY ARRANGEMENTS FROM SCHENKER BY CONTACTING NANCY STORRS BY EMAIL AT evtamerica [at] schenker.com
ONCE YOUR UNIT HAS BEEN SHIPPED ANY INVOICE BALANCE PENDING WILL BECOME DUE. PENDING BALANCES MUST BE SETTLED BEFORE MOTORCYCLE IS DELIVERED. SEND PENDING FUNDS TO EVTAMERICA. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PAY SCHENKER FOR ANY SERVICE. THANK YOU.
Now that they are shipping the price has gone to $2499.
The cap lock doesn't inspire confidence.
EVT America is not very good at inspiring confidence. We all hope that they are very good at building bikes. Soon...soon...tick tick tick.
