If it is a true gyro control like the Segway, it may not have any brakes! You may have to just pull back to stop. By the way, I rode a Segway for the first time last week. It is strange and takes getting used to, especially when going up or down steep hills and when you first step onto it.

No brakes? Will be looking forward to road tests on some of SF, CA streets. ;)
