Posted this once but didn't make it I guess.
I have an unknown brand of e-scooter that looks like a gas powered 50cc gas scooter's back panels.
There are three bushings. Where do they go for sure on the wheel? We put them on so the chain was almost straight but not quite. If we tighten the nuts the wheel slows down. Tha brake drags intermittantly.
I need some information on this. Thanks.
Most wheels have two bearings, one on each side of the HUB. Inside the HUB should be a spacer, the same size as the inner race of the bearings which would keep the bearings at the proper distance from each other. On the outside of the bearings should be two more spacers the same size as the inner race. These are to allow you to tighten the axle bolt/nut without squeezing the bearing outer races which would put a bind on the wheel. So what you need to do is determine which spacers go where.
