LiFePO4 Group Purchase Announces:

Message posted this morning by Joshua Goldberg on power-assist:

http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/power-assist/message/74544

http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/lifepo4-purchase/

A few months ago LifeBatt 10Ah Cells sold at $55.00 USD each.

The Price of this Production Run is $30.00 USD each.

Means a 36V X 10Ah Pack is $360.00 USD

Means a 48V X 10Ah Pack is $480.00 USD

For those interested - this is a good deal and is only for a limited time offer.

Cheers!

Re: LiFePO4 Group Purchase Announces:

One could buy any amount of cells @ 72v per cell?

The power-assist message says no BMS but that you're planning on working out availability of a BMS? Ditto on chargers?

CLARIFICATION:

You can download the cell specs here: 40138 CELLS: 3.3V / 10Ah - http://www.lifebatt.com/cellspecs.html

They are offering Soniel or LiFeBATT Chargers and Gary Goodrum is offering a BMS under a separate warranty is my understanding.

Battery cases are also going to be offered but I have no information as to those yet.

Complete details should be posted by tonight @ this link: http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/lifepo4-purchase/

Hope this helps clarify things ?

Cheers!

Re: LiFePO4 Group Purchase Announces:

er.. obviously I meant $30 per cell.. I was thinking about building up a 72v pack for my motorcycle ;-)

Anyway, yes, it helps and I'll be reading the specs. I've signed up with the lifepo4-purchase group, have been approved, but don't seem to be able to access messages.

Re: LiFePO4 Group Purchase Announces:

So does BMS/Charger come with, or is that extra?

If so, how much?

Re: LiFePO4 Group Purchase Announces:

BMS & Chargers are extra and some Prices are already shown on the Group Buy page: http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/lifepo4-purchase/#ans

Hope you can find what you need there ?
