The battery box was custom made to fit the Ping 48V 20AH LIFEPO4 battery. I had to grind off the spot welds on the old box and remove it. We measured the Ping battery and bend one up at my friends shop with as little loss of ground clearance as possible. You could almost get by cutting the spot welds off the original box, and then mounting it from underneath instead of on top, maybe with a spacer made of 3/4 inch ply wood painted black. You only need about 4.5 inches of depth for the Ping Battery, and I think that might just do it. I would have tried that if I didn't have access to sheet metal bending equipment.

This is the best powerboard scooter I've ever seen. Just awesome. It is so highly finished, unlike most all other high-powered scooters I've seen. I myself have a Bladez scooter that I've overvolted just fine to 30v. It will go 8miles, 17mph, 12ah SLA, 170 lb rider.
