Captain, here is the mount I made for my motor. Amazingly, I was able to use the stock motor mount as a connection and branched over to the shock mount for support.
The second photo show san aluminum connecting motor mount which I have since learned and used a steel one.
The last is just how I allowed the full shaft off the motor instead of cutting it. That would be tough to cut.
I got the aluminum at a scrap yard a lot cheaper than buying it from a hardware store.
