Anyone know where to buy vanity license plates for our scooters? You know, something like a fake Colorado plate that reads "Zero Gas" or maybe like an all black plate that reads in white lettering "2slow4u"...you get the idea.

Around here, a license plate that says "Electric Bicycle" with "Bicycle" in big letters is pretty much a requirement for a scooter style electric bicycle. I design mine to look very similar to a state plate, except without "Florida" or "Myflorida.com" anywhere on the plate. That way they won't feel like I am using a counterfeit plate. Without the plate, scooter style eBikes will eventually get pulled over and you run the risk of the officer misinterpreting the law. Better not to take the risk and avoid the hassles by putting an "electric bicycle" plate on the bike.
The plate also helps some to calm angry motorists trying to pass a slow ebike. But motorists around here are so angry that a $100 bill dispenser on the back of the scooter wouldn't calm them, let alone a license plate.
I also use "Recovering Gasoline Addict" stickers on my bikes, which really helps to evangelize the use of electric vehicles.
http://www.buildasign.com seems to be pretty nice, they have a cool WYSIWYG editor for designing your plate, costs $15.60 USD for one plate... prolly where I gonna get mine

What font do you use? There seem to be a bazillion fonts available via SmartBlonde.com and almost all of them appear a bit, un, silly :)
Also, which item do you use?
* Custom Bicycle - ATV - GolfCart - Scooter - Etc. License Plates? What dimensions is this?
* Custom Motorcycle / Golf Cart License Plates? What dimensions? 4" x 7"?
