Green Scooters - XB700LI ????

Hi Everybody,

Ran across this company advertising on Craig's List. Does anyone know about this firm, Green Scooter, LLC. The bike they are offering looks exactly like the XB700Li. I've sent them an e-mail to see what they have to say. Have to admit, I really like the "RED" as I was never a fan of multi-color paint schemes. http://www.greenscooters.net/index.php electricscooter4red_0.jpg

The solid red colour is definitely nice. I don't like it on the hubs, though.

It does look pretty much like the 700 Li but according to the web page its a 350 watt motor. And I can't seem to figure out what kind of batteries it uses.

My two cents, Scott.

Looks to me they are using a 36volt system. hmmm might be a bit on the lame side.

Yeah, I thinks it's a problem with their website. All the specs for scooters #1 through #4 are basically the same. 350w motor, 48 volts, 28-30 mile range, speed 22 mph. Makes you wonder what the difference is between models that justifies the price range of $995.00 to $1,499.00. When I get a reply from Green Scooters, I will post it.

O.K., here's the deal. I spoke to Mark (very nice guy) over at Green Scooter LLC. today. He told me the that the bike is a 350 watt motor and the batteries are 48 volt Lead Acid. I asked if they were SLA batteries and he didn't seem to know what that was. The lighting is 12 volt, but not LED.

As I said before, I like the solid red paint scheme, but I like the 700 watt motor and the Lithium batteries more. The $100.00 difference between bikes = Advantage XB-700Li.

Why is so small a powerplant attached to such a high price?
