I recently purchased a Hub Motor Kit from Five Flags in Florida. The documentation I received with the kit says the BL-36 should have a 5 pin connector and a 3 pin connector . My Motor has only a 3 pin connector. Do I Have a new designed brush-less motor or do I have a brushed motor ? Which ever it is , I like it.

You've got the new version of the BL-36. The BD-36 has a 2 pin connector.
