Re: Green indicator light on controller

Blinks various indicator codes. The steady blink is all is good. I am waiting to hear from a vendor what other blink cosdes indicate. No doubt one will be low voltage.

Re: Green indicator light on controller

From my WE documentation:

Red light = power (on/off)

Green light blink codes:

steady = all connections correct, no signal from throttle

No blink = motor is receiving throttle signal and power, motor should spin

Slow 6-blink pattern = hall effect circuit disconnect/broken wire

slow 8-blink pattern = batt voltage below 31.5v - RECHARGE! (their emphasis, not mine :) )

Slow double-blink = brake cut-off circuit is engaged

light blinks while motor is powered = trouble with the hall effects circuit

This came with my Hall sensor-less BL36, and also has the specs listed for a 50A controller, when mine is only a 25A, so this information may not be complete, accurate, or current - it's marked 2007. But it's a start!
