Eva Håkansson is (as far as I know) the rider of the Killacycle and has built her own electric motorcycle and has this interesting blog about the condition of the electric motorcycle industry.

There do seem to be a lot of electric motorcycles in the works or available. It's pretty darn exciting.
the killacycle is owned by the rider, which is one of her friends in the states.
its a nice conversion, though the motor she uses is a bit light duty for a 250 style motorbike (over heats).
