Re: Where do I get a hub motor?

Best vendor for clyte is ebikes-ca . Batteries for an x5 is a dilemma. Headway packs seem to be the best option at this time for a ready to ride lifepo4 pack with high discharge rates. Money money though. The new pingbatteries are supposed to support 3c discharge, but I think the bms is still only good to 60 amps.

Be the pack leader.

Headway packs only available direct from headway...good luck
ping packs can not support that motor, bms good to 30A
i think 30 = 60 in chinese

This thing about Headway is incorrect. We've had postings on V from two different organizations starting to import cells and packs from Headway, further batteryspace.com is carrying Headway cells.

Obviously Ping packs cannot support high current draw. They're okay for bicycles but nothing else.
