amp hours..

hi..
a simple and straighforward question i hope:
Can i use my bike charger (12v 50ah) to charge my van battery (12v 72ah) ?

As long as your bike uses SLA (Sealed Lead Acid) batteries your charger will work on your vans WLA (Wet Lead Acid) battery. Though the charger may or may not detect the end of charge properly. But the charger will definately charge your van's battery up enough to start the van and let the van's charging system take over.

thanks Ken, i only really need it as a standby for the van battery just in case and didn't want to buy another charger..
