Crystalyte Controller and Crystalyte Brake Inhibits and Brake Light

Hi,

I'm planning on putting together an ebike using Crystalyte components and would like to have a brake light. I will want to put together a switching regulator to provide 12V for the lights and a relay for the brake lights.

I don't have the components right now but it is my understanding that the levers have normally closed switches so I would want to wire the levers into the coil side of the relay and have the brake light wired to the normally closed position. Is the correct?
