That large carry bag will need a heavy duty 2 ply fabric shell. My Bionx kitted 2007 Dahon MU SL weighs a hefty 36 lbs without the battery, add another 7 lbs for the stock Bionx battery. I can imagine carrying it on a train or bus that is not crowded, but not as a carry on for a flight.
