I wonder what sources there are for bicycling maps online? Something that bugs me about maps.google.com is it only covers streets and doesn't include data useful for bicyclists and in particular does not provide directions or travel estimates related to bicycling. The closest they do is pedestrian data.
Just learned about this:-
It's based on the open street map project, and it has a lot of bicycling specific information.
Further it's an open source project that anybody can join and provide data.
