hi there i have two motors.my1020 750w 36v 2800 rpm blue unite motor, and a my1020 1000w 36v 3000 rpm black unite motor.why, using the same gear and state of charge set up,my bike runs slower whit the 1000w than the 750w,it dose have more torqe but less top end speed even if its rated at higher rpm...
any clue

Well, the 1000 watt motor having more torque lets you know that it is the more powerful motor, and is operating properly. So why would it have a lower top speed than the 750 watt motor? Your controller is obviously limiting the amount of maximum amperage, and the one you're using isn't powerful enough to allow the 1,000 watt motor to reach it's full output.

hi there, conducted test on both motor today, took a power supply and feed 36v fix, used a stobe to test the rpm under no load.
750w blue unite = 2980 rpm
1000w black unite =2142 rpm
