Sorry folks,
Talk about being stupid and can't see the wood for the trees.
I was so intent on producing the circuit for the charger that I managed to draw the battery symbol the wrong way up on the dawing titled at the battery.
I have corrected the drawing on the article, but for extra information. The fuse must be connected to the POSITIVE end of the Vectrix battery as is now shown correctly on the original article and copied here below in it's corrected form
