Thanks to Steve Scott

This is just to say thanks to Steve Scott for the fitting of 2 panels and a service carried out on my Vectrix.

Looking forward to riding it more often once the weather improves!

Hi, Likewise from me too. A recent visit from Steve fixed my battery temperature sensor and my Vectrix is up and running again, also had my first service too. He's a top guy and very friendly to talk to. Make sure you keep the kettle boiling ;-) Shame about the weather though and I've only managed three days riding this year so far, I've had to use the car and queue up with the 'lesser mortals' for petrol :-(

Electric traction is the future.

I'm still wondering what a 'service' consists of! If it's every six months, mines due for one soon.

6 MONTHS? Surely not?! I had my 1st service in month 19 = all was well, and a few bolts to tighten and I treated myself to a new Summer Screen for the (coming) good weather. No fluids to replace, battery fine, brakes with minimal use and a warranty check. I would think 12 months is a more realistic timeframe, and possibly longer :)

I'd have to agree with Raymond. In three years, my V has only been for one service, and that was only because I wanted to make sure it wasn't going to fall apart one week after the warranty expired! (I'm deliberately ignoring the emergency fixes of chargers and firmware upgrades...).

I'd say anyone with a bit of spanner knowledge can look after the V rolling chassis.
