Maybe one of our Australian friends can explain who this is. The article says Keith Dunstan was a long-time columnist in Australia who was famous for bicycling everywhere. It says that at 80 during a bicycle ride in the mountains he found himself to be creaky. ("I reached the top but the next day my knees were creaking like rusty chain.") So he started looking for an electric bicycle, found a small folding bike, and appears to be loving it.
I like this guy's story, thanks for posting this Reikiman. I'll be 60 this June 2010, maybe i should start checkin out these little Bikes , but i'm more interested in the Zero DS or the S, coz it looks like a very comfortable ride,(expensive tho')and the DS stance is a bit similar to my present Bike , a 2002 Yamaha Serow 225cc , so i guess i'll be waiting a bit for the Battery Pack Technology to get better and cheaper.
Meantime , i'll be using my Yamaha while saving for a Zero S . Cheers ! Paul C.
if it ain't Broke, don't Fix it..
