TTXGP @ Infineon - $5 or $10 admission link

This was just posted by TTXGP on Twitter:

Ltd. Special offer for TTXGP Save $10 on entry and watch history in the making. Book now. http://offer.egrandprix.com/Infineon2010

It's $5 off for one day's admission, or $10 off for the weekend. Use the link and let the track know that there is real interest in EV racing.

My sense is that Azhar is a very busy guy - organizing an international racing series and fighting against the incumbent motorcycle racing organization who apparently intent on crushing the eGrandPrix - anyway, yeah, I've talked with Azhar several times and am very familiar with the organization.

You'll see a banner in the footer of this site giving a link to the eGrandPrix rules wiki ... that site gives you an idea of the requirements to be able to race. The registration period to race in eGrandPrix is over ... and I have no idea whether there's a possibility for informal racing in the parking lot. The opening race will be at the Infineon Raceway and is part of a weekend-long AMA gas bike race, and I have no idea what's typical at those races. I have a press pass for the event and will have the freedom to go almost anywhere on the track to do news coverage.

It would be cool for the electric folk to have a way to hang out together during the event.

BTW - I'd think you woulda been able to build a bike for TTXGP racing. You hang out with electric motorsport enough don't you to have known about the races, right?

Heres what I got
From Bob Richards Infineon Raceway
EV bikes are pitting in turn 10 area and opened to the public

We have several displays and demo rides by Zero and Brammo for the race fans to enjoy.
We will have paddock bike parking, however it is first come first serve, thank you for the inquiry, hope to see you here…
 on map motorcycle parking by gate 1
 If Evmc’ers haul bike to race can park, unload, ride early 6 am, park in front of motorcycle area
 Place for Evmc’ers to meet up hang out, do a ride to Vallejo? 11 miles

Enter Gate 1 and the attendants will direct you. I do not think you would need to be here that early, by 8:00am you should be fine…(no promises though)
Saturday, May 15
12:30 p.m. – 1:15 p.m. Fan Walk hot pit lane / Opening Ceremonies
Maybe anyone can go in pit look EV race bikes up close?
