There is a front wheel drive 350w hub motor version of the xb420m scooter, they are only 999.00 by Thompson (tsw1), I could see a 3 wheel drive mod, which would be safer having 3 wheels.
My 420m has had a strange clicking noise from the rear right wheel since new & the voltmeter has never worked either. I bet I've put 100 miles on mine since April;I Love it! ps. ask x-treme about the motor actuators too.
