TTXGP UK CHAMPIONSHIP 2010 - ROUND THREE: PEMBREY

Following the second round at the beautiful Anglesey Circuit, the TTXGP paddock are taking another trip to Wales for the third round at Pembrey this weekend. We hope that the challenging and diverse circuit in South Wales will see some closely fought battles for the front of the grid, as we are seeing the gap to the lead pack closing round by round.

After Jenny Tinmouth's dominant performance at Anglesey, she's sure to be gunning for another victory on Welsh soil to extend her championship lead over teammate, Rob Moon.

Third place Jim Lovell, who rode for Tork in the first two rounds has unfortunately broken his foot in a crash earlier this month after his CB500 landed on him resulting in an operation and a couple of nights in hospital. Jim's replacement will be Darryl Harrison, but he is bound to be revelling in the chance to ride the competitive lightweight entry from India. Having returned to India, the Tork boys have formed a partnership with ColRai Racing who are looking after the bike for them here in the UK. ColRai have been busy since Anglesey and upgraded the suspension and brakes from the last round, so hopefully Darryl will have the complete package at Pembrey and give him the best possible chance as a TTXGP rookie to mix it with the leaders.

Pembrey is one of Pete Ward's, from the Electric Hussars, favourite tracks, so he's going to be hoping to capitalise on Jim's misfortunes and move up the table with another strong performance this weekend on his Mavizen TTX02.

Although it is disappointing that Donington Park was not possible, the support from Pembrey and New Era Club in helping to make this event possible has been fantastic and hopefully this weekend will be another memorable one in history with some exciting racing and push the future of motorsport to an even further extended audience with a great atmosphere.

Following Pembrey, the UK Championship will conclude with the UK final at Brands Hatch on 3rd October. TTXGP races will be shown on ESPN UK. TV and web listings are available at www.egrandprix.com/listings
