600/610 Battery Question

A bit confused.
Thinking bout going Li and looking on the ping web site.
They offer 48V bats from 10-30 amps.
The bats that come w/my bike are 20 amps and can't find anymore info about them.

The 20 amp Li specs list the following:

Rated Discharging Amperage: 20 Amps
Max Continuous Discharging Amperage: 40 Amps
Maximum Discharging Current: 60 Amps
Discharging Cut-off Protection: 50 Amps

What does this mean?
Does the Dis. rate have anything to do with the power of the battery?

Thank You,
Tom

Re: 600/610 Battery Question

Hmmm. Based on my SLA experience, I'm not sure. To make any guesses, I'd have to look at the original page. There may be some hints there. DO you have a link?
