I just bought a Embi 48v moped with no batteries for 75 dollars its in great shape except for no batts, I will get those soon. Anyone know where I can get any info on it. I can find very little on Embi. Thanx

Ok I hooked up the 36v battery from my Voy and the embi works great even with the 1 less batt it seems faster than the Voy and all lights and switches work!! Still cant find any info on Embi though
36v Voy runnin excellent and a EMBI 36v project.
It has been a while since I heard of an Embi. I had a 36 volt Yellow one and used it a year and tried to sell it. So I gave it to our president of EV club to ride to her work. Range was limited so I used orange Hawkers two on floor and one under seat. Rather overkill but range was better. I got my Embi on-line I think from Texas. I remember seeing a paper photocopy type of manual around that I forgot to give Karen. I think it stands for Electric Motorized Bicycle. If yours works you got a good deal. Batteries are expensive though especially good ones.

Wow your the first person ive talked to who even heard of it. Yeah I found that the company was in Plano Texas about 20 mins from me but of course closed now.
