The TTXGP team put this video together to honor Matt Dieckmann. Azhar Hussain was coincidentally in the SF Bay Area this last weekend and was able to attend the memorial service for Matt. He showed them an early cut of this video and there wasn't a dry eye in the house.
Matt was a leading contender in the TTXGP North American Championship 2010. He also participated in the FIM E-Power event at Laguna Seca.He tragically died in a road traffic accident in his hometown of Santa Rosa, CA as he was preparing to depart for the TTXGP World Final 2010 in Albacete, Spain.
Twitter in its infinite wisdom came up with these additional videos:-
This was the post-race press conference after the TTXGP season opener at Infineon. Matt's bike came in 3rd, and Azhar had him stand up for special recognition as a one man team. That is, Matt alone built the bike, and Mike Hannas is the rider.
