that has a fast turn wind. I want to replace a hub motor on a scooter but I want to stay with 48v yet be able to cruise at 30+ mph. I have not bought the scooter yet but I am looking at scoots with either 12 or 13" wheels. There is a mushrooming number of higher watt hub motors but after I get to the fine print, I either find that I have to use 60v to get power out of them or they just won't make a scooter go faster than 25 mph.

Sorry, that was 1,200 to 1,500 watts 48v hub motor I will be doing mostly flat land, out in the countryside riding, with an occasional rider. Geared would be preferable.
