It's a reverse trike design (2 front, 1 rear) with a hybrid electric AC drive train. It's sparse on details such as voltage. They do claim 0-60 in 10 secs, 150 mile range in electric mode, 230 miles/gallon fuel efficiency, and a NiZn battery pack. The trike is enclosed with an extremely aerodynamic shell (Cd of 0.11).
The part I'm concerned about is the poor history the EV community have had with NiZn batteries. The experience was with the batteries made by Evercel, and sold through Oxygen on the Lepton scooters. I've heard them described as having a strong memory effect and poor reliability. However the power density is on par with NiMH and the components are environmentally safe.
