Amped Bikes brushless front hub kit speed controller upgrade questions

I just installed an Ampedbikes brushless front hub motor kit on my beach cruiser. It runs smoothly, but takes a bit to get up to speed. Does anyone have any experience with these kits and could someone recommend a good durable controller upgrade to increase my speed. I am running one of their 36v 12ah tube batteries. The controller that came with the kit is rated at 25 amps I believe. I would like to know also if upgrading to a better, higher rated controller would damage the motor. Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

Alternatives to the Kelly KD Brushed Motor Controllers

I'm looking for a Brushed Motor Controller that has the option for seporate brake and throttle inputs.
These Kelly controllers seem to be what I am looking for:

as you will notice in the wiring schematic (page 10):

that it supports seporate brake and throttle inputs.

Cyclone electric bike kit review - not recommended!

Long story short:

Ordered and received 500W kit with 24v 10AH battery pack from Cyclone Taiwan.

Install is fiddly and need to keep re-adjusting motor position on frame due to torque.

Battery pack blew a capacitor (on the BMS). Fixed locally after advice from Cyclone.

Tres Terra Europa battery question

Can someone tell me if the 36 volt lithium battery pack in my Tres Terra Europa has some type of load protecting breaker? My battery fully charged reads 41.2 volts, and the wheel will spin very fast on the stand, no load. When I throttle it while attempting to ride it, all power goes away, until I switch the battery off, then back on. And by the way, I only weigh 170 pounds. Thanks for your help.

hub motor wheel spoking

Hello Folks. - From the expertise I have seen on this site,
I'm certain someone has done this. -
I have a 26" 'mountain' bike. I have batteries (24 V), chargers, brakes,
etc., already. - I do NOT need or want an entire 'kit' for my
upgrade to electric. - The whole kits are quite expensive.
I just need a motor, controller, and throttle. I can buy them
much cheaper, separately.
But, doing that, i need to spoke my own motor to my 26" rim.
That must (i believe) require new spokes of a different size.

decent folding electric bike?

I'm looking to cut down on fuel costs and start exercising a bit. Living in an apartment, a folding bicycle seems like the way to go. Unfortunately, I live at the bottom of a killer hill. After the hill, most places are on pretty level ground, but it's that starting hill (and perhaps one at a destination I am not likely to visit often) that are very steep.
