Rear tire picked up nail. Gio 500

I love my Gio e bike, 500 watt.
I picked up a nail in the rear tire. Flat.
Any advice?
My plan is to remove the rear tire and take it to a shop.
It has an inner tube?

Tommy Bahama Signs License with Pedego for Electric Bikes

This is an interesting bit of news. Pedego makes a line of nicely built good quality electric bicycles with a certain relaxed beach cruiser style to them. They've now signed with Tommy Bahama's to sell a line of Tommy Bahama branded electric bicycles. Welcome to the big time. Cycle Analyst with Cyclone 500 Watt Motor and 24v 20ah LiFePO4 Battery

I have a DreamE bike with 500 watt cyclone mid drive motor (internal controller) and a 24v 20ah LiFePO4 battery. I am considering the purchase of a Cycle Analyst to use as a speed/throttle control.

Ideally, I would like a device that would:

1) Cut off power when I exceed a specified speed and resume power when I reduce below the specified speed; or,

2) Allow a manual setting of specified throttle (1/2, 1/4, etc.) so that I can operate at a specied throttle setting, e.g., 1/2, for extended distances.

xb-600 Power Loss

Hi,
I've had my xb-600 for 1 year. I use it to commute 2 miles between my home and work. Take the same route evey day. My speed ranges from 15mph on hills and 22 mph on level surface. Recently I started experiencing sporadic "drop in power". For example, my speed will drop to about 12mph on the hills and 17mph on the flat. Sometimes, if I hit a "bump" in the road, the power will return to the normal speeds I've been experiencing.

Looking for a good hub motor

Hello - long time lurker, first time poster here,

Wondering if you all have a recommendation for a Hub motor?

So far I have focused on Crystalyte 408
http://www.electricrider.com/crystalyte/x-408r.htm

and High Tek Bikes' rear motor -

I have a controller - I work at a company that makes them and I'm looking forward to showing off a electric bike controlled by our controller.

Giant LaFree Bicycle SLA Battery Conversion Question

Hello - I'm hoping someone here can help me with this. We have 3 Giant LaFree bicycles - they are currently powered by the regular battery pack that came with them - which hold 2 - 12 v 12 Ah batteries - as they are normally set up with the circuit board or whatever than monitors the power left etc. (I'm a newbie to this so I'm not sure what everything is called.) I've not found the packs anywhere for replacement - at least not at a price I'm willing or able to pay.

Increasing the speed of a Fun5 EAPC ( Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycle )

Hi folk's, been trolling this site for a few weeks.
My first post so be gentle, as the title says, i purchased a Fun5 EAPC a few weeks ago via Ebay, from a Uk company www.fun2ride.co.uk
Its ok but lacking in the speed department, ie:- according to fun2ride it will do 30mph ( with Boost/ Off road Button pressed ), it will do 35kph on the centre stand ( rear wheel off the ground ) and 32/33 kph on a flat piece of road with no wind ( with boost/off road button pressed ), i weigh 70 kilo's so a 2 kph drop under load seems good.

Did I Hurt my new PING?

I just received my new Ping 48V battery and plugged in the charger, before connecting the sense wire connectors. Then I noticed the label on the side that says to connect the connectors BEFORE connecting to the charger.... Anyone know if I've done damage? I unplugged everything after only about 25 seconds. Help!
Thanks
