Hi everybody,

I've gotten an old 2008 ebike, with a 220w 24v motor. It was just a fun project to get up and running; the previous owner had rebuilt the controller from scratch, and did a lousy job of it. Not only that, but the bike was showing some weird symptoms, which could've been the controller or the motor itself. When held at an angle off the ground and supplied power, it would spin fine. If you held it off the ground, and tried to spin it backwards, it would catch and start going forwards. It seems to be cogging as well

I am thinking of buying a used bike but am worried about the battery.The bike retailed for 1800.00 and I can buy it for a fraction of that but I`m worried about the battery.To buy a battery from the dealer is over 800.00 but I see them on ebay for half that.. The battery I need is a 36V 10 Ah Li Ion. I was wondering (other than the size and shape) what should I find out to ensure that this battery will work with this bike and the charger.Any insight would be greatly appreciated thanks

Was looking around alibaba today (with much caution as I have seen the numerous horror stories on here!) and came across what seems to be a new part of their site company - AliExpress (http://wholesale.alibaba.com)

I've searched on here but not really been able to find any details. Has anyone used this service? Basically it lets you buy products direct from the supplier instantly online. It seems to have several benefits over the normal alibaba process as payment is via Alibaba, you can use a credit card for every transaction and payment is held from the supplier until you have confirmed delivery!!

Seems like a lot safer than the normal process as alibaba hold on to the money and you can claim a refund if not happy. Although whether alibaba can be trusted is another matter!!

Something confused me now, my company's logo(my web:www.aliexpress.com/fm-store/904105) looks like the same as a company from canada(www.ebikes.ca).

And I didn't think that is the same logo, it is different: different colors, different words, some customer suggest me to change it

So I don;t know what can i do now.
