EVT America Z-20a and Z-20b

I called EVT yesterday regarding shipping dates.
They told me the work has been interupted with really bad weather and a major
(week long) Chinese holiday.

So yet another delay : (

I just got an email from EVTAMERICA with the final invoice.
So... they must be ready to be shipped soon (I hope).

Once again a check sent to a PO Box - arrggg

That is encouraging. I haven't received a notice yet. Are you on the "priority" or "express" list?

We got the invoice as well. The email says to pay that amount, but the invoice says you will be notified as to when payment must be made and this is what the final payment will be.

Maybe I took that the wrong way, but that’s what it looks like to me.

Which list am I on...

I am on the Express list for an R-20 (since that one was supposed to take a little longer.

I have also emailed EVT for a ball park shipping schedule.

Fernando reponded to my email stating that they still do
not have a solid ship date due to the recent delays.

Oh well, at least it's paid for now.

My wife called Fernando today to clarify and he said this letter was to confirm shipping information, color and model to get this information to the shipper. Hopefully this means they are getting close. He did say some emails went out with the "final" cover letter email rather then the "confirmation" email. He said he would let us know when to send the final payment.

Well it's November 1st.

I called Fernando a few days ago and he told me they are ready to ship
but are having difficulty finding a shpper from China. Apparently
WalMart is dominating 90% of the shipping containers for xmas.

The original deposit agreement stated that if delivery was not
made by 12/31/07 then a full refund would be provided.

Since this is dragging on (and on and on) what is the best alternative
for a comperable electric scooter that can go 45MPH ?

I have seen a lot of info tossed around but I would like solid,
first hand suggestions.
