can we assembile a list of evs by watts , speed , range type of batt . type of controler and contact address., Support and Service and trust rating etc>> No exclusions ! A way for the newbie to choose his EV and learn the advantages and foibles of each .

Such a list would be multidimensional in nature because there are several sorts of EV: Bicycle, skateboard, small scooter, large scooter, motorcycle, car, truck, train, etc

The same notion occurred to me as well. The problem with EV finder is they don't do a good job of pruning outdated material nor is it organized especially well. I think we could do it better. I just don't want to volunteer for the work :-). We would also have to pay very close attention to how material gets presented. We wouldn't want it to provoke flame wars between competing brands, but we would want to include as much factual information as possible about reliability and such.

I'm assuming you are only interested in EVs in production or still sold new? That's not such a bad idea. Maybe it could be setup to be editable by users (like a wiki).

The list could help to get you started in making an EV purchase decision, but you'd most likely want to do further research from there by searching this or other forums, or searching http://www.evalbum.com, or by contacting distributors.
