Deafscooter have a Customer who order the custom made scooter

Deafscooter here....

I got a customer who ordered the Custom made E Scooter with Fastest 50 - 60 mph stand up scooter

Hi Craig, Deafscooter

what I'm looking
for (I need a fold down handlebar). I am thinking maybe it would be
better for me to order a custom scooter from you. Can I tell you what
my ideal scooter would be and you can tell me whether it is possible to
build to that spec, and if so, how much it would cost?

So ideally, I like something based on a BladeZ frame because I need to
be able to fold down the handlebars. I also need some modification to
lock down the handlebar in the back so I can pick it up by just the
handlebar like a luggage. I do this currently by wrapping a chain
around the bottom of the scooter and on top of the handlebar, but it
takes time to do the chain each time I have to carry it up stair.s

I'd like it to go 50 - 60 mph, with a range of 8 miles.

For batteries - I was thinking four of those new A123 batteries. I'd
need to have the BMS still installed because often I cannot unplug it
when it is done charging - I need to be able to plug it in and leave it
plugged in over night.

As for the components - I really like the work you did on the 2002
Currie Lightning where all the components are in the housing. I leave
the scooter locked outside sometimes in the city so I can't have the
parts exposed for people to try and steal.

I also like how with the backplate on the Currie you can have a second
person hanging on behind.

I'd also like the charger itself to be housed inside the main unit, so
I
can pull out a cable on one of those spring action cable winds and plug
it in. The charger definitely has to be part of the scooter though so
I
don't have to carry cords separately.

It'd also be nice to have some kind of trunk or basket to carry small
things or attach grocery bags. Also, I need to carry around a chain to
lock it up. I like to ride standing up, so no seat is necessary.

What do you think?

Thanks.

Emailed from My Customer what he Reply email to Deafscooter

hi Craig ( Deafscooter )

Sorry for the delay in replying to you - I've been pretty busy these
last few days. The price is higher than I was expecting. I was hoping
to be able to buy a scooter for less than $3000. How can we reduce the
costs?

I had some more questions for you ...

For the frame part, this looks like it also has the motor inside the
frame ... I don't know
though whether this is another cheap scooter or a nice one. The
website has it listed as a BladeZ. Would it save costs to try and modify this
one as opposed to building the frame from scratch? Or would it require
so many modifications that the custom frame would be better?

I was also thinking of perhaps going in a completely different
direction, and modifying a scooter like this ... that way I could use it
in the winter and be safer. Normally I just ride in the snow on normal
tires. I'm not sure though - what do you think?

As for the design you sent me though - I really, really like it. I'm
just debating with myself over the cost. Can you give me some more
information? Like what are AGM Batteries? How many charge cycles will
I be able to get out of the AGM battery system? I tried searching but
couldn't find anything about them.

Also,

What is the difference between brushed and brushless motor?

What is the sprocket?

What is the ABC Speed Controller?

For the existing design, the other specs I forgot to mention - there
should be a hole in the frame for me to loop through heavy duty bike
chain, and a way to store it on the scooter. I use this for mostly
city riding so I need to be able to lock it where ever I go in the city.
Also, there needs to be something built in to lock the handle bar down
to the other end of the scooter frame so that I can lift the handlebar
in the middle and pick up the whole scooter. Something that just swings
into place so it is fast and easy.

Sorry again for the delay. I'm really excited to get a good scooter, I
just want to make sure everything is right and that I understand all
the
trade-offs, since I am spending a lot on it and will be using it every
day. Like, what is it that makes the scooter go so much faster? Is it
having more batteries, or having a better motor, or controller? Or do
you need to have them all?

Are you on any instant messenger so we can talk more about it?

What do you think?

It's certainly original. Way more creative than pills. It does lack the earthy, organic quality of hemlock and arsenic, however. I don't think the results will be any less messy than using a handgun. Everyone has the right to be silly though so I say at the very least make sure your will is up to date before trying it.
