Controller replacement help needed

I bought a New Hope kit on ebay that suffers from a poorly designed controller.Seller is no help,I've bought 2 controllers so far the mosfets short out and destroy the lo v ic's. The motor was advertised as 500 watts the v is 48 no specs are available on the controller. I'm thinking a crystalyte 48v 20 amp might be a good choice. Motor wiring is 3 power leads, 3 sensor leads, 5v hot and ground. The throttle is wired 5v hot, ground and .5 to 4.5v 0n the sensor wire closed to wide open. Any thoughts out there? Thanks in advance.

Re: Controller replacement help needed

Well it seems that no one was able to rise to the occasion. I did figure out how to apply a solid quality Crystalyte controller to just about any Chinese hub motor. If anyone needs help with this type of problem email me through the member list and I will be glad to help.

` :( :( :(
davovinch,
Sorry about that, I have no knowledge on any of those items, I did do some research on the New Hope kit and didn't understand any of it.
I'm sure this just fell through the crack some how. Control systems doesn't get a lot of traffic, were you using it on a E Bike?
Well thanks for offering to help others.

Peace Out,
Gman
