Vectrix Encoder where to source

Hi All,

Today I used my last spare encoder to fix a customer bike whose enocder had suffered from water ingress

I went to order a replacement from vectrix parts, but see the website is down.
Same too for dugas engineering

Has anyone identified what encoder is used in the Vectrix, and where to order from?

Re: Vectrix Encoder where to source

I still have them. I took them off e-Bay b/c I was constantly getting emails from a guy in Europe who wanted to pay half price. $225 each. Let me know if you want one and I will send PayPal info.

BTW, these were custom made for Vectrix. Before going bankrupt, we were informed that they would no longer be supplying them when stock ran out. I developed an alternative but...well you know the story.

Hi, I have some spares, but I'd prefer to keep them until a replacement hardware is ready. I know Fran is working on a replacement, but it will take time. If I were you, I'd wait to see where vectrixparts hardware warehouse ends...

Hello everybody,

I'm sorry I can't help, but, You may help me.

I'm looking for a special tool ( the left part in the picture or both parts ) https://www.dropbox.com/s/wkymjnq20qziuxe/calibration%20tool.jpg?dl=0

I bought the rignt part from Vectrix spare shop a few weeks ago. The site is down again at this time but I informed former Vectrix staff about this.

a plan with precise dimentions to make one may help.

Re: Vectrix Encoder where to source

Thanks X Vectrix, I found an additional encoder disk in a motor in a wreck in my shed, so I'm back to one spare.
I'll keep in mind that you have more available, though it's likely not worth me hoarding spares (yet)
