Infineon Raceway will also host the best in motorcycle road-course racing at the AMA Motorcycle Sonoma Showdown, May 14-16. The weekend will also feature Supermoto, as well as the first-ever electric motorcycle race in the Sonoma Valley with the TTXGP U.S. Championship.
I'll note that Infineon is in the SF Bay Area and that the bulk of the U.S. Electric Motorcycle industry is here in the SF Bay Area or within a short drive. That includes Thunderstruck Motors, Electric Motorsport, Lightning Motors, Mission Motors, Zero Motorcycles and a little further afield Motoczyz, Brammo and Barefoot motors are all in Oregon and were TTXGP participants.
That should be a very interesting race. However it's also very close to the TT race on the Isle of Man so I wonder which teams will choose to compete in what race?
