Am I being foolish to drive no faster than 70km/h and don't accelerate hard to preserve my battery life?

I do that to extend my battery life, or so I think. Does it matter or can I take it to 100km/h (3C) without any worry, that my battery won't last that long if I do that.

Watching these videos http://www.youtube.com/user/srpadre gives me an itch to drive up to 100km/h, but I'd really like to preserve my battery life.

Will driving up to 70km/h(1C) do that or can I take it too 100km/h(3C) without any worry?
