Remove the two machine screws from the ends of the pivot pin and remove the "stops". You should be able to drive the pin out the end. Use a large brass drift just slightly smaller than the diameter of the pin. Do not use a steel punch, or anything so small that it may mess-up the threads in the end of the pin, or expand the pin making it harder to remove. Hope this helps. I will post pics. Can some one post the proper bolt sequence for re-assembleing the rear wheel with drum brakes? I forgot how it goes and nothing is working. From bearing out would be nice.

Thanks I will try that. I am re-painting the entire scooter and it would make it easier.
And you'll get a nicer finish, too. Hope the pin comes out easily.
It would be great if you could post a pic after it's painted. Doing any other mods?
