As a Canadian, I find it disappointing that Canada has such a weak showing on this forum. I would love an electric motorcycle in the next year or so but I'm not a home owner. I wonder how people are managing charges and such without their very own Garages. I think I'll ask that in a separate thread.
Barcelona, Catalunya (Europe). 00249 may 2007 unit, 27.400 km so far. I had received the bike by end of may 2007, 15 days after it was produced. I wanted the bike to participate in the rally solaire phebus 2007, so I rode it with a french prototype license, 2 months before the vectrix VX-1 got its spanish' approval (homnologation).
This post caught my eye:
Oldest living production bike with almost 21,000 miles. This bike has seen it all.
Xvectrix, I'm wondering what serial number and date your bike has. I'm looking after the V's production chronology...
Honolulu, Hawaii USA - Believe I have the only one in Hawaii !!!
2759 miles in first year, purchased in Seattle, Washington at Big People Scooters (Vespa) in Seattle
Bike is still running great even in this warm climate. Love the bike, but am eyeballing the new Brammo Empulse motorcycle!! The vectrix is comfortable and has the range to get me back and forth to work with a few errands, but I really wish they had more energy dense batteries.
I live in Domzale, Slovenia with no dealer here present every. I imported my Vectrix from Verona, Italy (it was delivered boxed to my doorstep directly from Poland for 170 EUR).
8500km done, 4500 of those on 2nd battery. I did a to the red battery telltale discharge 4 weeks ago (I was on holiday for the last 3 weeks). The battery is as good as new. I just love my bike.

Thanks Xvectrix. Congratulations, you have the oldest operational vectrix in the world (wait a moment.. what happened to 00001?:-) And what happened to all the prototypes? I've found a picture from 2005 with a prototype wearing the present shape... http://www.vectrixeurope.com/node/268
Another question... Your bike does not have a barcode label with the exact production date? thanx!
Yes...I stand corrected. I always forget it was 002 and 003 that we received from the factory. 002 was disassembled and I have 003! not 002. Sorry for the misinformation.
Vin number 16 was at a dealers in Somerset (UK) and was originally one of the Harrods display bikes. It has some interesting wiring due to rework and various other differences but I can't remember what they were.
00001 does exist! :) It's in the polish factory standing on the nice stand
That makes a lot of sense... Dismantling the very first vectrix would have been a huge mistake...

This is interesting.. the lowest VIN in spain is a 0192 unit build in January 2008. It is a factory retooled bike. But the "oldest" VIN is my 0249, May 2007. Many early units, from 0000 to 0200, must have gone to the primary targeted markets: UK and ITALY...
Near Croydon, South London, UK, and I saw a red V with black "ELECTRIC" lettering being delivered on a trailer a few weeks ago in my area, then today I saw it being ridden. Don't know if he/she is on Visforvoltage though.
Unfortunate 40˚C (104˚F) plus from June through September. Rest of year, absolutely delightful. Think I just killed a few cells this Summer of 2010 with 2-year-old V.
Brisbane, Australia
2008 model, 7000km
I'll ride it like a bike but don't get more than 50km out of a charge. Usually just city traffic with 2km of freeway. Love the bike, but still feel majorly ripped off by Voz.
I'm in BELFAST N Ireland & I think I'm all alone! Am I the only one.
According to DVLNI (Driver & Vehicle Licencing N Ireland there are
no other Vectrix owners registered in N Ireland

Cheers everyone, and keep charging!
I leave the bike outside all the time, no garage here.
Once you go EV, Gas is history!
Auckland, New Zealand. 18 months, 5000k's.
Outside Eureka, Humboldt County, the other California. 2 years 5000miles
I had no idea you were outside Eureka! I played basketball at HSU from 96-2000. Was there a dealer in Humboldt?

Serial 0001 does not exist anymore. It was disassembled for testing as soon as it arrived from the factory. These were pre barcode bikes.

During 2007 I was the only vectrix driver in Catalunya. Now in 2010 there are over 45 vectrix hanging around...
I think I'm still the only one in my country.
