Where is everyone located?

Hello all, purchased a new 2008 from Denver Colorado Powersports on July 30, 2011 and it lives in Erie, Colorado! Currently have 300miles on it and updated to latest firmware yesterday to get that 68mph top end speed.

I'm in Murfreesboro, TN just south of Nashville.
Silver 2007 Vectrix, 8099 miles (1334km).
A little history; at around 4400 miles (7080km), The battery pack was getting bad enough that it had to be replaced. I was really surprised it was done under warranty, at no charge to me. More recently, at around 7800 miles (12550km), the charger went out. Parts and labor to replace it cost around $900 (my dealer said Vectrix gave me a good discount on the charger).

After the battery replacement they did the ROM upgrade. My normal ride is about 25 miles to work, where I recharge and 25 back (though the odometer on the Vectrix shows farther than my car/gps measure it, around 27-28 miles).

I am newbie to this forum. I do not have a VECTRIX. I am located in Barra de Navidad Mexico.
I would like to build a tricycle that will haul 2 adults, with a canopy and solar cell charging system.

Hobart, Tasmania. I just bought a non-working Vectrix on ebay. Hope to do a lithium conversion.
Currently I commute on a SYM HD200.

I thought about bidding, but the ministry for finances decided that someone else needs to store that dead Vectrix - your job! Good price though...

Better start a new thread to discuss your new bike, it sounds like it has a bunch of problems beyond just the battery. In fact, the battery might be fine with the right amount of pampering, but the motor controller is probably toast.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble. Can I enquire as to the mileage so far and the problem? The UK bikes seem to have fared reasonably well (mine is a tad under 13,000) so I'm always keen to find out what has happened when something does go awry - forewarned and all that.

Just purchased a dead Vectrix here in Houston TX a week ago.

Halfway between Sacramento and San Francisco - I have one VX functioning but with low range, and another that I intend to dismantle this summer: offer me enough for a part and I might find it for you...

I bought my Vectrix VX-1 Li+ end of january from a guy aged 86 who drove a KTM Duke 390 beside the Vectrix...

Just purchased a 2007 Vectrix which did run, until I let the original batteries run all the way down.
I guess it's time to learn how to do the Li+ conversion. :)
